About Us

Summer of Speech is a unique speech therapy practice because -- just like our name states -- we are only open in the summer! This allows our wait list to change frequently and offer more flexibility for families looking for services during the summer months. 

We offer individualized 4, 6, or 8 week one-on-one speech and language therapy sessions for clients and families looking for services in the summer months. Whether you believe your child needs an extra boost of speech therapy over the summer, has a current speech IEP and did not qualify for summer school, or you are looking for an initial speech evaluation, Summer of Speech is here to serve you!

• Current Summer 2024 Speech Schedule:

  • June 22nd-August 2​4th 

• In-home or teletherapy options available

• We service several southern areas of Downriver, including Trenton, Riverview, Taylor, Woodhaven, Brownstown Charter Township, Gibraltar, Rockwood, Flat Rock, Grosse Ile, Huron Charter Township and Northern Monroe County. 

• We do not currently accept any insurances, but we are able to offer a superbill for speech services that may allow you to get reimbursed by your current carrier-out of network benefits.
